Editing from the iOS app
A native iPhone app for editors. It talks to the same PullPress behind the scenes as the website, so everything you save is a normal change that follows the same review flow — nothing on your live site changes until someone approves it.
Signing in
Open the app and tap Sign in with email. It opens your normal PullPress login in the browser; enter your email, tap the link we send you, and you jump straight back into the app already signed in. No password, no Git account. The sign-in is remembered on your device.
Writing and editing
Open a site to see its collections, then an entry to edit it. Each field is a clearly-labelled box — a red asterisk marks the ones you have to fill in, and help text sits underneath. Tap Save to keep a draft, or Submit for reviewwhen you're ready for someone to publish it.
Some fields show a small padlock: those are read-only— your administrator locked them (a settings name, a fixed link) so they can't be changed by accident. You'll see the value, but you can't edit it.
Adding a new entry
In a list of entries, tap the + in the top corner to start a fresh one. Fill in the fields and save or submit — it becomes a new change and travels through review exactly like anything you write on the web.
Adding photos
On an image field, tap Add photo to pick one from your camera roll. The app shrinks it on your phone and PullPress optimizes it again, so uploads stay quick and images stay sharp. The photo is committed together with your change, so it goes through review just like your words — nothing appears on the live site until the change is approved. The separate Media screen browses the shared library and lets you copy a link to any existing image.
Board, calendar, search and media
The same day-to-day tools as the dashboard are one tap away from a site:
- Board — the shared idea list, plus your changes grouped as drafts, in review, planned and published.
- Calendar — scheduled and recently-published changes, by day.
- Search — find content by title and text, or by meaning when your site has semantic search.
- Media — browse the image library, copy links, and upload from your phone.
- Help — a quick refresher, with a link to this full guide.
Reviewing on the go
If you can publish, each site shows a To reviewinbox. Approve a change, or send it back with a note, right from your phone — the full side-by-side comparison is one tap away in the browser. It's the same pipeline as the web review page.
Notifications
With notifications allowed, you get a push when something needs you: approvers hear about new submissions, writers about decisions. Tap it to open straight to the change.
