PullPress vs Decap CMS
Decap (formerly Netlify CMS) is a solid open-source widget that lives inside your site. PullPress is a hosted dashboard for all your sites, with an editorial workflow your clients don't need to configure — or even see Git through.
Netlify Identity is deprecated
Most Decap sites let editors log in through Netlify Identity and Git Gateway — both deprecated by Netlify. PullPress replaces that login with built-in email magic links, and imports your existing Decap config.yml when you connect the repo. Your content files don't change at all.
